FURNITURE

This is a 1972 Montgomery Ward Airline Multiplex Solid State 8 Track Stereo player with AM FM tuner, turntable, and built in speakers.

It has a writing desk. The bottom has double door storage cabinet with adjustable shelf. The speakers are on the top of this 5'9" high unit.

The 8 track drive belt is new and included is a spare belt. The turntable works, however it needs a plug that I have been unsuccessful locating. It can be bypassed with another plug.

All offers will be considered. It is a large, heavy unit so shipping will be expensive unless you pick it up at its location in Rohnert Park, CA.

On the front is a headset jack. There are 3 sliders for treble, base and balance. There is a knob for on/off and volume. The next knob has AM/FM/AFC/MPX/PHONO/TAPE(for aux. tape player etc). The knob on the far right is for tuning in the radio stations.

That black object on the right side of the picture slides onto the spindle that goes onto the center of the record. It is used to play 45rpm records. Remember the 45's?

On the back of the cabinet is where this plate is located. Here is where you can attach extra speakers, the antenna wire, and jacks for tape recorder...or auxiliary.

There is another jack where you can plug in another 110v item. It is located on the back of the cabinet just to the right of this plate.

These stickers are located in various areas of the unit. The first image shows the sticker located under the turntable.

This sticker is located on the back of the unit cabinet.

This sticker is located on the back of the main 8 track unit.

These numbers are stamped into the wood on the back of the cabinet.

This is the broken plug I am trying to find for the turntable. The turntable worked fine until this plastic plug disintegrated. The turntable will need a different switch to operate as I am unable to find this old plug.

Asking $200 for this unit. Includes 8 track tapes and spare drive belt for the 8 track player.

All items are located in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County California unless noted otherwise
